This course has been created to provide a balance of information from nutritional history, scientifically supported data, and from the views, experiences, and practices of natural health practitioners and nutritionists.

The aim of this course is to provide you with a thorough understanding of the principles of Applied Nutrition. Nutrition is the key to success in the fitness and health industry. Knowing how to apply your knowledge of nutrition to fitness is essential. The very latest scientific research and thinking is examined and discussed. Topics include a wide range of information about nutrition, from nutrients and digestion to food issues and preparation. Whether you are a health professional or layman, the course will prepare you to apply sound nutrition knowledge to your every day life.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES
On completion of the course, the students should be able to
•  Advise amateur athletes and sports-minded clients on their nutritional needs and provide accurate information on the    efficacy of sports supplements
•  Help give the apt diet chart/advice to the patients depending upon their conditions or disorders
•  Furnish relevant information to optimise pre-event, event and post-event nutrition, thus enhancing strength, endurance and    overall performance.

•  Physiotherapists /Physiotherapy Interns , Graduates in Life Sciences & NIS Coaches
•  BPED, MPED Students / Interns, Psychologists , Dieticians, Nursing Graduates & Others who have done Nutrition Courses

Duration & Contact Program

•  Six months correspondence / online study
•  10 days contact program conducted in association with department of Nutrition, at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad*.
