Sports Medicine, Sports Physiotherapy and Nutrition are the newer fields, and yet to be utilized to their potential in India. Sports have become very competitive and much of scientific research and support towards sports teams found to be rewarding.
The team doctors & team sports physiotherapy services have become very essential for most of the Teams, Health Spas and Health Gymnasiums.

Sports Medicine and Applied Physiotherapy is a developing field in India, and curriculum of many courses does not include these Subjects. A Trained Doctor / Physiotherapist in Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy and Nutrition will be an asset to any team during preparatory phase as well as during competition.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
During the Course, we expect that you will
•  Acquire adequate knowledge of scientific training and fitness specific to individual sports.
•  Develop adequate skills and knowledge of prevention and rehabilitation of sportsinjuries.
•  Acquire comprehensive knowledge of sports nutrition and nutrition for performanceenhancement.
•  Understanding guidelines for setting up of fitness and training centers

Eligibility

•  Graduates in Physiotherapy / Graduates in Life Sciences & NIS Coaches
•  BPED, MPED Students / Psychologists , Nutritionists & Nursing Graduates
•  MBBS Graduates & General Practitioners (Including BHMS,BAMS, BUMS)

Duration & Contact Program

•  Six months correspondence / online study.
•  One week contact program conducted at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad*. by experinced faculty in the field.

3. Exercise and Fitness
4. Sports Injuries and General Guide
5. Sports Nutrition
6. Emergency Procedures – CPR on Ground
7. Protective Equipment
8. Drug Abuse in Sports

Course Fee

Rs. 20, 000 payable one time or two equal installments of Rs. 11,000 each in favour of “Medvarsity Online Limited” Payable at Hyderabad
