Health Insurance is a system of assurance to meet the contingencies of health care expenses. The primary objective of Health Insurance is to provide protection against financial losses caused by unforeseen health problems and at the same time relieving anxiety and mental tension. Hence it can be appropriately called as Health care Insurance.

The Government introduced the bill in Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha passed the IRDA bill on 2 December 1999, followed by Rajya Sabha on 7 December 1999 and has become an Act after receiving presidential assent. The Act has conferred a statutory status to the IRDA, while removing the government monopoly status of LIC and GIC.

ASSESSMENT:

Online Internal assessment will be done periodically, Maximum pass mark is 50% Final examination will be held at the end of the course.

CRITERIA FOR CETIFICATION :

Minimum of 50% marks in final examination. On successful completion of the final examination candidate will be awarded thecertificate

FEE STRUCTURE:

1. One Time Payment of Rs. 10,000/- for the course.
* Fee is inclusive of all taxes.

2. All payments to be made in favour of "Medvarsity Online limited " payable at Hyderabad.

3.Payments will be accepted only in the form of D.Ds, Cash, Money orders.

4.Fees once paid will not be refunded, transferred or adjusted against any other purpose.
