Being a person who has lived with Diabetes for the better half of his life, it has become more of a lifestyle than anything else for Ramesh. It involves a lot of determination and mental precision in order to keep going and he believes no one can understand their body better than themselves. Ramesh, now 65, was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in his mid 20s and has been with it since.

In the beginning he was given just pills, but with time and increase in weight, he realized one has to also lead a healthy lifestyle, in order to keep diabetes in check.
