Overview
Medicine's goal is to alleviate pain, a task crucially supported by anesthesia. Anesthesiologists play a key role in patient safety and comfort during medical procedures. e-Learning Anaesthesia (e-LA), and developed by the Royal College of Anaesthetists and e-Learning for Healthcare, offers comprehensive training for aspiring anesthesiologists. This programme covers essential knowledge and concepts required for the FRCA examination and specialist training in anaesthesia.
The programme features over 800 interactive eLearning sessions, spanning from clinical fundamentals to advanced topics like obstetrics, pediatrics, and elderly sthesia. It also provides access to a vast e-library of full-text journal articles mapped to the curriculum, ensuring learners stay current with the latest research and advancements.
Formative assessments with feedback (e-assessments) help reinforce knowledge and prepare trainees for the primary and final FRCA exams. Continuing professional development (e-CPD) is supported through targeted articles and assessments, promoting ongoing skill enhancement.
Mathematics and statistics, vital for safe anaesthesia practice, are integral to the curriculum, focusing on dosage calculations and data analysis. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of eIntegrity, recognised as a mark of quality and competence in anaesthesia.
e-Learning Anaesthesia (e-LA) is a valuable resource for anesthesiologists worldwide, offering flexible, engaging, and comprehensive training.
Enrol today to elevate your skills, advance your career, and become a leader in anaesthesia.
