Course Description

Session-2 of the course covers the importance of nutrition across the human life cycle starting with pregnancy, then progressing to infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and the elderly. Each life stage is discussed with an understanding of the physiological changes and nutritional implications for each stage.

The module on weight management will help the student understand the multifaceted nature of weight problems and strategies needed to assist clients with building positive nutritional habits, diet planning, and weight loss. Students will also gain fundamental knowledge of the specialized area of sports nutrition.

Eligibility: 

  • Graduates from any discipline (MBBS, Dental, AYUSH, Nursing, and Nutrition) with valid recognition.
  • Students who completed Session 1

On completion of Session-2, the student will be awarded the Certificate in Lifecycle and Wellness Nutrition. This course is certified by Medvarsity and AHERF.

Course validity: 4 months. There will be an extra charge for the extension of the course validity.

    • This is Level 2 of a series of three courses that add up to provide a deep understanding of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Is this course recognized by UGC or any other academic body?

2. Eligibility for the course
  • Graduates from any discipline (MBBS, Dental, AYUSH, Nursing, Dietetics) with a valid recognition

3. What is a hands-on training program?
  • Hands-on training means training in an environment that permits each student to have experience performing tasks, making decisions, or using equipment appropriate to the job assignment for which the training is being conducted. The student assigned for these programs will be observing all procedures performed by the consultant and depending on the student’s abilities and skill set displayed at the hospital, he/she will get to assist the consultant.

5. Assessments
  • How will the assessments be for the Level 2 course?
    • All assessments in Level 2 will be online test based. Your knowledge and understanding of different chapters will be tested through online quizzes at different stages of the course. Successful completion of all online assessments will make you eligible for the certification.
  • What if I am not able to clear the final test in each level in the first attempt?
    • You will be given three attempts to clear the tests. If you are not able to clear the final test for the Level in three attempts, you will have to pay re-activation fees. Contact Toll free (1800-103-6006) or write to us at [email protected].
  • What if I feel that a question is wrongly framed or an answer is wrongly marked in the online exams?
    • If you feel that something is wrongly mentioned, you can write at [email protected], directing it to the academics team.
6. Certificate
  • What certification will I get at the end of the course?
    • You will receive a “Certificate in Lifecycle and Wellness Nutrition” after the successful completion of this course.
  • When will I get my certificate?
    • Once you successfully pass each Level, a PDF of your E-Certificate will be auto-generated in the Learning management system.
