Course Description

This  Certificate Course in Diabetes Mellitus has been designed by leading diabetologists to cover the clinical features, screening and diagnosis, and a basic introduction to the pharmacological agents used in the treatment of diabetes. The multiple case presentations, lectures, and interactive elements presented throughout the course aim to improve clinical outcomes by providing an overview of diabetes education, exercise, and pharmacological agents. This self-paced course allows you to upskill yourself while managing your clinical responsibilities. This course is an essential first step for achieving your Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus.

The course has been updated according to the latest guidelines of the International Diabetes Federation.

This course is CPD Accredited! Taking this course provides you with a certificate from the Official CPD Standards Office.

Learning complex medical concepts in the traditional didactic textbook and lecture format can be alienating for students. It prevents the opportunity to apply this knowledge clinically.

Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus  incorporates a Case-Based Learning Approach within the Medvarsity Learning Framework to address this gap in medical education. With this unique methodology, students consume relevant medical content while learning concepts through interactive case studies spread throughout the course. Thus, students are provided with relevant specialty-specific cases and a clear structure for precise diagnosis and customized treatment plans on a case-to-case basis.

We at Medvarsity strive to equip every physician with the ability to fast-track their career and enable them to better serve the communities in which they practice. Join us, and let us impact healthcare through education.

All eligible candidates after successful completion of this course will gain a Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus and will be eligible for the Advanced Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus. After completion of these two courses, they will be eligible for Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus.
