This is a self-paced training program crafted for MBBS graduates and practitioners seeking to enhance their expertise in providing top-notch medical care to adult and geriatric patients. Furthermore, possessing the Certificate in Internal Medicine enables you to work in various settings, such as hospitals, private clinics, or research institutions, and have many opportunities for specialization.

This course is designed to deliver 30 hours of comprehensive learning content through eight modules covering the core competencies in internal medicine.

These include:

  • Rationalization of drug prescription
  • Management of fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base imbalances
  • Diagnosing and treating infectious diseases and allergic conditions
  • Clinical representation of ear, nose, throat, and ophthalmologic disorders

The standard learning method can be unengaging and restrict the application of medical knowledge in real-life clinical situations. To address this issue, a case-based learning approach is introduced within the Medvarsity Learning Framework, which facilitates a deeper understanding of medical concepts and the ability to diagnose and customize treatment plans for specific cases.

Upon completing the course, you will be awarded the Certificate in Internal Medicine and gain clinical competence to work as a primary care physician in hospitals.
