Course Description

Session 3 of the “Masterclass in Critical Care Medicine” will teach you intensive management of acute illnesses. You will learn the core skills required for managing the critically ill patient with specific acute medical conditions. This session will prepare you to manage critical illnesses affecting various systems including cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, endocrine, renal, neurological, infectious diseases, hematological, and oncological conditions.

Apart from the learning materials, experts in critical care medicine will share their experiences and tips through webinars (Live virtual classes). All the learning materials and assessments will be online. You will also have 3-months of clinical training in a premier hospital.

This course is complemented by a 3-month rotational internship wherein the training doctor is posted in various critical care units of accredited training hospitals. This course is certified by Medvarsity and Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF).

You will be trained by a critical care specialist and will be posted in the ICU. You will get a chance to observe/perform various procedures and manage cases under the guidance of your supervisor. On successful completion of this session, you will be awarded the Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine certificate. This course is certified by Medvarsity and Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF).

  • Students who completed Session 1 and Session 2
  • MBBS graduates with MCI/State Medical Council registration.

4. Assessments
  • How will the assessments be for course?
    • All assessments will be based on online tests.
  • What if I am not able to clear the final test in each level in the first attempt?
    • You will be given three attempts to clear the tests. If you are not able to clear the final test for the Level in three attempts, you will have to pay re-activation fees. Contact Toll free (1800-103-6006) or write to us at [email protected]
  • What if I feel that a question is wrongly framed or an answer is wrongly marked in the online exams?

5. Certificate
  • What certification will I get at the end of the course?
    • Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • When will I get my certificate?
    • Once you successfully pass each Level, your E-Certificate will be generated in the Learning management system.
  • Will I get the certificate before the course duration?
    • Even in case you complete all the online modules and exams much before your course end date, the certificate can be made available only after the course duration is complete. In other words, invariable of how early you complete the course, certificate shall be made available only when the course duration is over.
