Course Description
Orthopedic rehabilitation is a therapeutic approach to recovery to correct musculoskeletal limitations and relieve pain caused by trauma, illness, or surgery. Interventions by physical, occupational, and recreational therapists are included in orthopedic rehabilitation, which is supervised and guided by a physician. In addition, orthopedic rehabilitation includes exercise techniques, training programs, counseling, and environmental modifications beneficial in the rehabilitation process.
The Fellowship in Orthopedics Rehabilitation – Level II course provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to organize, manage and deliver an Orthopedics Rehabilitation program within a hospital/community setting.
Rehabilitation is critical for restoring a patient’s activity, strength, and motion following an injury or surgery.
This Rehabilitation Course prepares students to work in the field of orthopedic injuries and to treat patients who have deficiencies and weaknesses that can be eliminated or mitigated with targeted workouts.
This course is aimed at MBBS graduates, GPs, Physiotherapists/ Physiotherapy interns.
A trained physician can assess, diagnose, plan, and carry out therapeutic and rehabilitative programs to improve or restore human motor functions, maximize movement ability, relieve pain syndromes, and treat or prevent physical challenges caused by injuries, diseases, and other impairments.
This course is certified by Medvarsity and Apollo Hospital’s Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF).
At the end of the course, you will be placed for 7 days at Mission Walk Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation which aims at improving the individual’s quality of life who suffer neurological, orthopedic, sports, cardiac & pediatric disabilities through intensive activity-based therapy and functional rehabilitation exercise program to enhance overall functional capacity.
Additionally, Groovi movements a physiotherapy software that enables the rehabilitation specialist to
- Suggest a rehabilitation regimen, Revise the previous regimen, or introduce new exercises
- Prescribe customized evidence-based progressive loading for your patients
Eligibility: MBBS graduates, GPs, Medical Students, Physiotherapists/Physiotherapy interns, Rehabilitation physicians, Rehabilitation trainees.
Course Validity: 7 months. There will be an extra charge for the extension of the course validity.

- How to give exams online, the procedure to give exams?

- Click on the Access option; type your user name and password.
- Select My Courses and then click on learn option.
- Modules will be opened in which you have to select the module and click on it.
- You will find various options like eBook, case discussions, videos, Assessment, etc.,
- Click on the Assessment option to give the exam.
- Click on Take assessment and read all the instructions -> click on start exam -> Attempt exam.
- Every 60 seconds page gets deactivated, hence it is important that you refresh the page time and again.
- Are the scheduled dates for the exams mandatory or not?
- It is Optional, however, if you have to complete all Modules and final exams before the Course Expiry date you will receive your certificate on time.
- Session expired and it is showing as an unauthorized user?
- If the page is left idle for more than 60 seconds session will expire automatically. Refresh the page periodically to avoid.
- If the session is expired, what to do?
