Description

The Fellowship in Paediatric Onco-critical Care is a specialized 12-month program crafted for post-doctoral doctors in Pediatric Intensive Care or Pediatric Haemato-Oncology. Children with cancers, hematological disorders, or undergoing HSCT face unique and complex challenges, often requiring highly specialized and integrated care. This fellowship bridges the gap by training clinicians in advanced clinical management, critical care procedures, palliative care, and research.

Through structured rotations, hands-on exposure, mentorship from Apollo’s senior consultants and international experts, and active participation in research, fellows will gain the expertise to manage complex pediatric onco-critical cases and contribute meaningfully to this evolving field. Graduates receive a Fellowship Certificate from Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF), a globally recognized credential.

In addition, the fellowship emphasizes a holistic approach to pediatric care by nurturing skills in communication, ethical decision-making, and family counseling. This ensures that graduates are not only clinically proficient but also compassionate caregivers capable of addressing the emotional and psychological needs of young patients and their families.
