Course Description
The Fellowship in Pediatrics – Level l course enables the students to study broad range of basics, translational and clinical science related to child health, including major strengths in Infectious Diseases, vaccines, developmental immunology and hematology, neurosciences, and gastroenterology.
This course is aimed at medical graduates who are already working or planning to work in pediatric units in the hospitals and intend to improve their knowledge and skills in managing child patients. Any MBBS graduate registered with a State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India (MCI) is eligible to take this course. Recognize the clinical characteristics and evolution of common and uncommon pediatric diseases.
This course also helps in understanding evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans for children by formulating appropriate testing and treatment strategies for children. It also includes determining appropriate laboratory testing and interpreting findings pertinent to children while planning the evaluation and treatment of diseases in immune-compromised children.
Apply the principles of quality improvement and patient safety to the evaluation and treatment of children with infectious diseases. Live Virtual classes throughout the course to complement the curriculum by expert faculty. This course is certified by Medvarsity.
Learning complex medical concepts in the traditional didactic textbook and lecture format can be alienating for students. It prevents the opportunity to apply this knowledge clinically.
Fellowship in Pediatrics – Level l incorporates a Case-Based Learning Approach within the Medvarsity Learning Framework to address this gap in medical education. With this unique methodology, students consume relevant medical content while learning concepts through interactive case studies spread throughout the course. Thus, students are provided with relevant specialty-specific cases and a clear structure for precise diagnosis and customized treatment plans on a case-to-case basis.
Additionally, we’ve partnered with Springer Nature to ensure that the students are exposed to relevant and credible content with the latest advances in the course specialty through a variety of case studies, books, journals, and other learning materials. This is the future of online education, especially for healthcare professionals.
