Course Description

Imaging methods such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound play a key role in patient care. The ability to accurately interpret radiological images is important for clinicians in their day-to-day practice. However, the undergraduate medical curriculum provides only basic coverage of radiology. Interpretation of Radiological Images (e-IRI) is a high-quality e-learning course that provides structured training on all the key aspects of image interpretation. It was created by experts from the College of Radiographers and Health Education England e-Learning.

The course explores a wide range of imaging modalities and specialties, including radiography, ultrasound, breast, cardiac and cross-sectional imaging (CT and MRI). The course contains many engaging and highly interactive sessions, each taking around 30 minutes to complete. The course is completely online, and you can access the study materials at your own pace in a clinical setting, at home, or on the move. You can practice your interpretation skills using authentic scenarios and images from real medical cases.
