Course Description
The 2-day hands-on training enhances your clinical skills, and technical skills, and helps you develop essential skills to manage normal labor and perinatal emergencies. This hands-on training will help you to learn through a case-based approach and practice through hands-on simulation training.
This training aims to focus on various case-based discussions with comprehensive learning.

Day 1
09:30 to 10:00 – Registrations
10:00 to 11:00 (Session 1) – Welcome, history taking, and maternal examination
11:00 to 11:30 (Session 2) – Normal Delivery and practice through Simulation training
11:30 to 11:45 – Break
11:45 to 13:00 (Session 3) – Pre-eclampsia; eclampsia – case-based discussions, maternal safety, and resuscitation
13:00 to 14:00 – Lunch
14:00 to 15:30 (Session 4) – Assisted Vaginal Delivery & Breech and other abnormal presentations – Case-based Discussions
15:30 to 15:45 – Break
3:45 pm to 5.00 pm (Session 5) – Maternal Resuscitation, Management of First, Second, Third, and Fourth Degree Lacerations (Simulation Training)
Day 2
9:00 am to 10:00 am (Session 1) – Overview of Obstetric Emergencies
10:00 am to 11:30 am (Session 2) – Management of First Trimester Complications – Case-based discussions
11:00 to 11:45 – Break
11:45 to 13:00 (Session 3) – Management of Medical Complications in Pregnancy – Case-based discussions
13:00 to 13:45 – Lunch
13:45 to 15:00 (Session 4) – Vaginal bleeding in Late Pregnancy – Case-based discussions
15:00 to 15:15 – Break
15:15 to 16:15 (Session 5) – Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage – Case-based discussions and hands-on approach
16:15 to 17:30 (Session 6) – Abnormal Labour-case based discussion and closure (certificate distribution)

- No refund will be issued if the student fails to attend the simulation training/ workshop but will be given the option to reschedule the workshop twice during the course validity period.
