It includes both online theoretical training and a three-month rotational internship at a leading institution, offering hands-on experience in an ICU setting.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine by Medvarsity include MBBS, MD, MS or DNB graduates registered with the National Medical Commission or the State Medical Councils. You should also complete your certificate and advanced level certificate course to be eligible for the fellowship with the respective educational criteria.

In the Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine by Medvarsity, you will learn the comprehensive management of critically ill patients, covering conditions such as cardiac and respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and chronic renal failure. The course includes in-depth training on advanced diagnostic and patient monitoring techniques, as well as mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.  You will also participate in simulation training for life support skills like BLS and ACLS, and gain clinical exposure during a three-month contact program in an ICU. The curriculum emphasizes the development of leadership skills necessary for managing multidisciplinary critical care teams.

The clinical observership in the Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine by Medvarsity is a three-month clinical observership conducted at a leading hospital's ICU. During this period, you will gain clinical experience by working directly with critically ill patients under the supervision of experienced professionals. You will also learn to utilize advanced diagnostic and patient monitoring technologies, enhancing your practical skills and clinical decision-making abilities​

Upon completion of the course, you will receive the certification accredited by the Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF), BAC, and recognized by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Standards Office, UK, and Medvarsity. The certificate signifies your expertise and advanced knowledge in critical care, enhancing your professional credentials and career opportunities.

Upon completion of the Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine, you will be accredited with  35 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours by the CPD Standards Office, United Kingdom.

You will have three attempts to clear each quiz and must achieve a minimum score of 60% in the final assessment to pass. If you are unable to clear the final assessment within three attempts, re-activation fees may apply. The assessments are designed to ensure a thorough understanding and retention of the course material, enhancing your competency in cardiac rehabilitation.

The National Medical Commission (NMC), which replaced the Medical Council of India (MCI), does not officially recognize courses offered through online or blended learning platforms.
