You should be registered with the National Medical Commission or the State Medical Councils. After, completion of the Certificate and Advanced Certificate Course in Diabetes Mellitus by Medvarsity is mandatory to enroll in this fellowship.

In the Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus, you will gain comprehensive knowledge through six modules, case studies, and quizzes, culminating in a final assessment and a mandatory 30-day clinical observership. The curriculum covers the epidemiology and management of diabetes complications, including hypoglycemia, diabetic ketoacidosis, microvascular and macrovascular complications, and specific conditions like diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy. You will also study diabetic foot, sexual dysfunction, gastrointestinal and dermatological issues, bone and rheumatic disorders, and periodontal disease. Additionally, the course focuses on diabetes in special populations such as children, adolescents, the elderly, and pregnant women, covering lifestyle management, self-management education, psychosocial stress management, and pharmacotherapy. This practical experience is crucial for developing your clinical skills and confidence, ensuring you are well-prepared to manage and treat diabetes and its complications effectively.

Upon completing the Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus, including the final assessment and clinical observership, graduates will receive three certificates. You will receive a fellowship certificate from Medvarsity, a CPD certificate from the CPD Standards Office in the UK, and a certificate from Medvarsity for clinical observership experience.

Upon completion of the Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus, you will be accredited with 25 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours by the CPD Standards Office in the United Kingdom.

The course assessments are conducted at multiple intervals as the course progresses, with each chapter ending in a multiple-choice quiz. If you do not clear the quiz at any level or the final assessment on your first attempt, you will have three attempts to do so. The videos cannot be downloaded but can be viewed anytime within the course duration. You can pause and resume modules at your own pace within the course timeframe. Additionally, the course includes a 30-day clinical observership at a leading corporate hospital. All courses are in English.
