The Certificate course in Diabetes Mellitus is designed to provide fundamental knowledge of diabetes within a short time of 3 months. The course will introduce the students to the basic concepts of diabetes, including the definition and classification of diabetes. In addition, students will also learn about the clinical features of diabetes, screening and diagnosis, and the basics of diabetes management including an overview of diabetes education, exercise, and pharmacological agents. The course is updated with the latest figures given by the International Diabetes Federation.
It is also presented in the form of short narrated video sessions that are easy to understand, along with downloadable transcript documents that can be used as notes for future reference.

On completion of Session-1, the student will be awarded the Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus. This course is certified by Royal Liverpool Academy and Medvarsity. The Royal Liverpool Academy is the academic centre of the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals, NHS Trust.
Course Validity: 4 months.There will be an extra charge on the extension of the course validity.
