Course Description

Advanced cardiac life support or Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) refers to a set of clinical interventions used for the urgent management of cardiovascular emergencies such as cardiac dysrhythmias including cardiopulmonary arrest, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), stroke and other life-threatening medical emergencies.

This course will provide you knowledge and skills required to recognize these emergency conditions and implement effective lifesaving interventions. The purpose of such training is to enable healthcare professionals to increase adult survival rates in cardiovascular emergencies.

ACLS training can be provided only by qualified healthcare providers, as it requires the ability to manage a person’s airway, get intravenous (IV) access, read and interpret ECG rhythms and understand the pharmacology of medications used. This course is therefore relevant for physicians, dentists, and nurses. Paramedics, emergency medical technicians, other emergency responders, personnel in intensive care, and critical care units can also get trained in ACLS. This ACLS course is certified by Medvarsity.

Hands-on simulation workshop on Basic Life Support(BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS):

Participating and on completion of this AHA certified course would allow you to provide Basic and Advanced Life Support along with prioritizing chest compressions and provide effective initial care.
