While Sam is trained and grounded on verified, Medvarsity-owned sources of content, it remains an AI system that can sometimes generate inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. All AI-generated content will include the label: “By Sam AI – there may be mistakes. Learn More.”

Nature of AI-Generated Content

Sam generates responses and translations dynamically using machine learning algorithms. These outputs may include summaries of Medvarsity content (courses, case discussions, blogs, FAQs), AI-generated translations from English into other languages, AI-generated assessment questions and automated feedback, and explanatory or conversational guidance based on user queries. While Medvarsity endeavors to keep Sam’s knowledge aligned with authoritative content sources, AI systems can make mistakes — including factual inaccuracies, inappropriate suggestions, translation errors, or contextual misinterpretations. Users should treat Sam’s responses as assistive and informational, not authoritative or professional advice. Clinical, legal, or educational decisions must always be based on verified human review.

Accuracy, Hallucination, and Translation Limitations

AI “hallucinations” may occur — this means Sam might generate fabricated or outdated facts, misinterpret context or nuance, or produce translations that alter meaning, tone, or cultural relevance. Medvarsity and its partners make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content. Users relying on this content do so at their own discretion and risk. If you encounter errors or inconsistencies, we encourage you to notify us through the feedback feature available alongside Sam’s interface.

Human Oversight and Quality Assurance

All AI-generated outputs on Medvarsity — including text summaries, translations, and assessments — are subject to human review and quality monitoring by Medvarsity’s editorial and subject matter expert teams. This process is designed to uphold educational accuracy and user trust. Data Handling and Privacy

Sam retains non-identifiable user queries to improve system quality and training performance. Medvarsity does not collect, process, or store any personally identifiable information (PII) through Sam’s interface. All retained data is anonymized and used solely for performance optimization, detection of common user issues, and system improvement and abuse prevention. Data processing is conducted in accordance with GDPR, AI Act, DPDP Act, and IT Rules 2021. Medvarsity is not liable for actions or decisions made based on AI-generated outputs. Users are responsible for validating all critical information from primary or authoritative sources. AI-translated content may not reflect the precise meaning of the original English version and should not be used for legal, clinical, or regulatory interpretation.

Intellectual Property and Attribution

All underlying content, datasets, and intellectual property used to ground Sam’s responses remain the property of Medvarsity Technologies Pvt Ltd. AI-generated responses do not transfer or create new intellectual property rights in favor of the user. Use of AI-generated content must comply with Medvarsity’s Terms of Use, Copyright Policy, and Code of Conduct.
