RSSDI is the largest organization of diabetes health care professionals and researchers in Asia.
Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India was registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 by the Registrar of Societies, Delhi Administration vide Certificate No. s 5480 of 1972-73 dated July 29, 1972, at Delhi.
RSSDI is also actively involved in diabetes awareness programs that focus on creating awareness about various aspects of diabetes among diabetes patients and their families and the population at large.
RSSDI funds research proposals from Indian Scientists, interested in conducting research in the field of Diabetes Mellitus. For providing research grants, RSSDI invites proposals from Indian scientists, interested in conducting original research in the field of diabetes mellitus. Furthermore, limited grants are also available for the students of medical colleges for smaller projects.

- Is this course recognized by MCI?
- Medical Council of India does not recognize courses that are offered through online or blended learning platform.
- Can I call myself a Diabetologist/ Diabetes specialist after completing this course?
- No. The aim of this course is to be a form of continuing professional development that will increase your clinical knowledge on diabetes and make you better primary care providers. It is not a replacement to formal medical education and specialization.

- Physicians (MBBS, AYUSH), Final year medical graduates and interns (MBBS and AYUSH)
- Hands-on training means training in an environment that permits each student to have experience performing tasks, making decisions, or using equipment appropriate to the job assignment for which the training is being conducted. The student assigned for these programs will be observing all procedures performed by the consultant and depending on the student’s abilities and skill set displayed at the hospital, he/she will get to assist the consultant.

- How will the assessments be for the Level 2 course?
- All assessments in Level 2 will be online test based. Your knowledge and understanding of different chapters will be tested through online questions at different stages of the course. You will also be given a final online exam, successful completion of which will make you eligible for the certification.
- Will the final online test be given on a scheduled date?
- The final online test will be unlocked as soon as you complete all the lessons and pass all previous knowledge check tests. You need not wait for any scheduled date for the exam.
- How many attempts do I have for the final exam?
- One attempt
- What if I am not able to clear the module tests in the first attempt?
