Course Description

Globally, around 78.2 million get injured and 1.3 million people die in road traffic accidents each year. There is a steady increase in the number of registered motor vehicles in India over the last two decades. According to 2017 burden of disease report, 10.7% deaths in India were due to accidents and injuries. It is important for healthcare professionals to learn how to manage accident cases and save lives as one in ten Indians die because of injuries and accidents.

The Certificate in Accident Medicine course has been designed to provide healthcare professionals the essential life-saving skills needed in accident cases and to help them learn specific management methods for various types of injuries. The course comprises of four modules with approximately fifteen hours of learning content. On completion of the module level quizzes and the final quiz, you will receive the Certificate in Accident Medicine from Medvarsity.

  • I am an MBBS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS student. Will this course benefit me?

    • You are given 3 months duration to complete it. However, if you spend enough time on the learning materials and clear the assessments, you can finish the course at a faster rate and get the certification.
2. Eligibility for the course

3. Course delivery
  • How to access the course material online?
    • After your enrolment is confirmed, you will be given login credentials to the Medvarsity Learning Portal.

4. Assessments
  • How will the assessments be for course?
    • All assessments will be based on online tests.
  • What if I am not able to clear the final test in each level in the first attempt?
    • You will be given three attempts to clear the tests. If you are not able to clear the final test for the Level in three attempts, you will have to pay re-activation fees. Contact Toll free (1800-103-6006) or write to us at [email protected]
  • What if I feel that a question is wrongly framed or an answer is wrongly marked in the online exams?
    • If you feel that something is wrongly mentioned, you can write at [email protected], directing it to the academics team.

  • What certification will I get at the end of the course?

  • When will I get my certificate?
    • Once you successfully pass each Level, your E-Certificate will be generated in the Learning management system.
