Incidence of infertility is rising due to increased awareness and treatment-seeking behavior driven by internet resources and peer networks. Various terminologies like sterility, subfertility, and impaired fecundity (difficulty conceiving and carrying a pregnancy to term) describe different aspects of infertility.
