Case Description
Overexertion refers to the act of pushing your body beyond its normal limits. This can lead to a number of health problems, including heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. There are many different factors that can contribute to heart disease, including overexertion....
Case Summary
- Exercise helps maintain blood pressure, improves blood glucose levels, and strengthens blood vessel health, leading to more efficient heart function. It enhances muscles' ability to extract oxygen from the blood, reducing the heart's workload, and lowers stress hormones. Furthermore, exercise acts as a beta-blocker, slowing the heart rate and decreasing blood pressure while elevating beneficial high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol.
