Overview

This masterclass is designed to strengthen your practical competency in 2D echocardiography through immersive exposure to real-world cardiac imaging workflows and structured echo interpretation. You gain guided exposure to standard echocardiographic windows, probe handling, image optimisation, and systematic cardiac assessment across routine and complex clinical scenarios.
The curriculum covers left ventricular systolic and diastolic function assessment, right heart evaluation, valvular heart disease, pericardial pathology, myocardial disorders, and congenital abnormalities. Participants also develop practical familiarity with Doppler techniques, chamber quantification, haemodynamic assessment, and focused echocardiography in emergency and perioperative settings. Through live scanning sessions, structured reporting, and case-based discussions, practitioners strengthen their ability to acquire quality images, interpret findings accurately, and integrate echocardiographic data into clinical decision-making.

About the Program
This masterclass is designed to build confidence in performing and interpreting 2D echocardiography across a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions. Participants strengthen their ability to acquire optimal views, assess cardiac structure and function, evaluate haemodynamics, and identify clinically significant abnormalities. The program develops practical expertise in echocardiographic interpretation, structured reporting, and evidence-based cardiac assessment essential for modern clinical practice.

Note: Clinical exposure, procedural participation, and case mix may vary across training locations based on patient availability, institutional protocols, faculty expertise, and operational considerations.
