The curriculum provides guided exposure to colorectal outpatient evaluation, rectal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) interpretation, tumour staging, multidisciplinary team planning, and evidence-based surgical decision-making aligned with colorectal oncology practice.

The program further introduces the full spectrum of robotic colorectal procedures, from segmental resections and total mesorectal excision to complex pelvic surgery and oncologic reconstruction, alongside ERAS pathways.

Through live robotic procedures and workflow-based learning, practitioners strengthen robotic dexterity, embryological plane dissection, nerve-preserving pelvic dissection, intracorporeal reconstruction principles, peri-operative optimisation, and complication recognition.
