Description

The Certificate Course in Nephrology and Dialysis is a rigorous 12-month program comprising over 2,600 hours of clinical, academic, and research training. It equips participants with advanced knowledge and practical expertise in managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and transplant care. Learners will undergo rotations across nephrology clinics, dialysis centers, and ICUs, with exposure to modalities such as hemodialysis (HD), peritoneal dialysis (PD), and CRRT. Training also includes renal biopsies, vascular access procedures, and transplant follow-up care.

Beyond clinical immersion, the course emphasizes weekly lectures, journal clubs, simulations, and research methodology, preparing participants for evidence-based practice and academic contributions. Quality improvement projects and multidisciplinary team collaboration further strengthen leadership and communication skills.

Graduates will gain the confidence to work independently in diverse nephrology settings. The course bridges the gap between theoretical learning and bedside practice, ensuring participants are future-ready specialists. Faculty-led mentoring, structured feedback, and exposure to complex case discussions provide a unique academic edge. By the end of the program, learners will be able to apply advanced nephrology knowledge in critical care, community health, and tertiary care environments
