Over the course of this fellowship, participants will delve into a wide range of topics essential to neurocritical care, including neurology, neuroradiology, neurological monitoring, and general critical care principles. The programme also covers critical aspects of respiratory and cardiovascular management, obstetric emergencies, environmental hazards, toxicology, and oncology within the neurocritical care context.

2. Course objectives
The goal of the fellowship programme is to train eligible candidates in the subspecialty of neurocritical care medicine. Fellows will be exposed not only to the clinical aspects of critical care, but also to teaching, administration, and research. At the end of the course, the fellow should be able to handle complex critically ill patients of neurology and other disciplines in order to prepare them to function in either an academic centre or a community hospital environment.
