Dr Venkatesh Munikrishnan

Dr. Venkatesh Munikrishnan is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Professor at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Trained in the UK, he established the Institute of Colorectal Surgery and is one of India's leading experts in robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He performs one of the highest volumes of robotic colorectal procedures in the country and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His clinical interests include precision oncology and the development of biomarkers for rectal cancer.
